James is the founder of OnThisDay.com, the world’s largest, most accurate site for today in history, which is enjoyed by millions of people a month. He is also the co-founder of Borneo Dictionary, a not for profit project digitising Borneo’s diverse range of native languages.
He started his career as a business and technology consultant based in New Zealand for 8 years. He became an experienced business intelligence developer and data warehousing/big data specialist. His technical skills include responsive web development, SEO, internet marketing, numerous programming languages, relational and OLAP database design and development, ETL tools, management reporting and dashboard design.
His experience covers many industries, including internet media, banking, electricity, financial services, government, insurance, manufacturing, non-profit, payments, retail, telecommunications and transportation.
